Workflow and Project Managing Approach
Beamline Components & Experimental Equipment
SXIC provides engineering support for a wide range of beamline components, including slits, monochromators, attenuators, and safety shutters. Services also cover specialized sample environments, such as baby chambers, reaction cells, and solid-liquid cells, as well as detectors and experimental tools, including electron analyzers and X-ray detector systems.
Procedure
Projects are developed through a structured engineering approach, from definition of scientific and technical requirements to final design and production. Depending on the project, this includes analytical or numerical modeling, parameter optimization, 3D CAD design, FEA, and Monte Carlo simulations.
SXIC also supports material and component selection, identification of production partners, and preparation of detailed construction drawings. When required, suitable manufacturing workshops can be selected and coordinated to ensure the final equipment meets the specified technical requirements.
